Today’s inspiration layout was created from all the little leftover star shapes from the FIRST page in this month’s blog series! I couldn’t bring myself to throw them away so had them all in a pile on the corner of my desk and they kept migrating into other piles, winding up on the floor, etc. I finally got them onto a birthday page I can use for one of our parents’ celebrations. Love the cute 50’s retro vibe!

I started with Basic Black pages and added Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party with a little Petal Pink (peach) and crisp white. This mat technique (torn strips) is a great way to use up those leftover scrap bin strips that seem to multiply by themselves.

What’s your page count for the month? If you weren’t able to play along, I hope you’ve pinned or bookmarked inspiration for when you do have the time!
See you tomorrow for Day 27!
