Hi there, papercrafters! If you're just joining us, welcome to Song of My Heart Stampers' blog series challenge, 31 Pages In 31 Days!
Every day during the month of August, I'm posting a single or double page scrapbook layout for your inspiration. I am running a Scrapbooking Summer School on four consecutive Thursday nights in August, and I've issued them a challenge–complete thirty-one pages in just thirty-one days. You can play along at home, too!
Today's inspiration page has a fun little hand-cut scalloped border. I like how it draws the eye in so none of the details are missed. My baby shower page has a Mint Macaroon, Lost Lagoon, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Whisper White and So Saffron color scheme.
I raided the scrap bins for all sorts of goodies for this page. The baby buggy piece was a stamped tag. The heart-punched border was a cool-looking "negative" left over from another project. I'd created the little ribbon embellishment for a Christmas card and then ending up not using it. And I finally found a home for my very last In Color Boutique Details flower from three years ago.
Have you ever challenged yourself to make a whole page around a certain item? Maybe a card that came with some flowers, or some pretty wrapping paper, or the tag off a particularly special present. it's fun and challenging to pull together pages with a pre-set color scheme and theme determined for you!
Thanks for popping in for Day Seventeen inspiration! See you tomorrow for more 31 Pages in 31 Days.
