Welcome back to Song of My Heart Stampers' blog series, 31 Pages In 31 Days! Every day during the month of August, I have posted a single or double page scrapbook layout for your inspiration. I have gotten SOOOO much done this month! Have you?
I can't believe it's Day 30 already! Just one more day to go. Today's inspiration spread is a fun tagged headline using the awesome new Larger Than Life alphabet stamps from Stampin' Up. This classic font style is a great addition to your scrapbooking stash! I stamped my headline with random letters alternating Pistachio Pudding and Pear Pizzazz ink, to visually break up the words and lessen the impact of all that light green. The photos on top of the mats will also tone that down.
I originally had this in mind as a new-baby spread, but decided to go a little more versatile age-wise. Played up the masculinity a little by adding the newsprint, which I brayered with Smoky Slate to get rid of the vanilla background, which did not go with my white tags, and stamped the Snapshot single stamp to create a little focal point right where your eye ends up after reading the headline.
