I know you're all excited to see today's inspiration page, but even MORE excited to see who won the 100 Papers Giveaway, right? So let's announce that lucky lady right away!
Congratulations to Donna Chandler, who will receive 100 different patterned papers plus Volumes 1-6 of my Scrapbooker's One-Sheet Wonders to use them with! I hope this prize gives her a big, enjoyable boost in her crafting.
I'll be doing one more BIG giveaway before the week is out, so keep checking back and maybe it will be your turn next!
Ok, on to today's inspiration layout!
My Scrapbooking Summer School ladies know I love them… because I cut out over 100 of these leaves for their kits! They'll also feel spoiled because I shared my new Galvanized Metal Buttons with them, a perfect accent from the upcoming Holiday 2018 Catalog.
This layout has a fun headline technique. You die-cut your headline first, then spritz the "negative" with ink and water. Then adhere it down (when dry). Put the letters up on dimensionals and put them back into the holes, slightly offset. It really makes the headline pop! This is called the eclipse technique and you can do it with stamping or sponging instead of spritzing, too. Fun!!
I did more spritzing on the rest of the spread as well. I love how it fits in with a weathered, natural theme. Everything is softened around the edges, too. Less is more with spritzing, though–don't use too heavy a hand or it just looks messy instead of intentional.
I included the spritzers in their Week Three kits, but this is what my class participants will be using to complete their pages, if you care to follow along at home!

Yay Donna! Congrats! Lyssa, these pages are super cute! I know just what pictures I am going to put on them. Can’t wait to get them and I am so happy I signed up for your SSS. It has made me motivated to get a bunch of pages done. I am getting pictures on my finished pages and it has been fun seeing my scrap books get filled!
I know you love us, as you put so much thought and care into your scrapbook pages. My friends and I are having so much fun getting together to recreate these pages. Your Scrapbook Summer School is so worth it. Thanks for all your hard work and creativity.
Wow, I love this natural look, so many options for the pics too. Thank You Lyssa for cutting out all those leaves and sharing the buttons too – it is well worth it!! Thank You! Debby
