31 Pages in 31 Days 2017: Day 5

Is it possible we're on Day Five already? We sure are! Welcome back to (or just welcome TO, if you're new!) our scrapbooking challenge to complete 31 pages in the 31 days of August 2017. Whether you're playing along or not, there's plenty of inspiration, lots of new products to spot, and some fun tricks and techniques you can make use of in any type of papercrafting.

Today's inspiration page features sports! This is a soccer or baseball layout that could be adapted for football, cross country, or really any sort of sport played on grass.

There's a special trick to this layout, and it's called Scrapbooker's One-Sheet Wonders Volume 5! I used Layout #26 as a template to cut ONE sheet of 12×12 cardstock into all the green pieces you see on this spread. That's right– all of those piece from one sheet! I made the "grass" on these pages with the stems from the Tranquil Tulips stamp set (get it free this month with any $50 order!) I love that the Wild Wasabi cardstock matches the Wild Wasabi ink perfectly. It pairs well with the Dapper Denim color I used for the lettering and the stamping on the little banners.
