WOOT WOOT!!! We made it! Thirty-one straight days of scrapbooking. WOW!!! If you've just wandered in in the middle of the show, click here to read about how 31 Pages in 31 Days got started, what immersion scrapbooking is, and why it works for me.
It's been an amazing month, and drumroll, please…..I am pumped to share that my personal final page count for the month is 52 pages!!! I think that might be a record for the #31pagesin31days challenge series. What an awesome boost to my albums this has been.
Today I have the final inspiration layout to share, and then we'll get to some fun stuff like free prizes! I tried to save a really good page for the last spread of the year. This one counts in my book, if for no other reason than it took me forever to fussy-cut all those animals!
The super cute Birthday Memories suite is adorable, but I only got the papers and not the matching stamps and dies, so having to hand-cut them is my fault : ) but ya gotta make cutbacks somewhere, right?
One thing bothers me about this paper. The eye naturally wants to read from left to right. But the animals are all marching right to left, so my title piece had to be in the upper left corner (usually a design no-no). However, I helped ameliorate this issue by adding the smaller text in the lower right corner, so the eye could go there first and then travel backwards along the parade of critters and wind up at the headline. It's a little thing, but scrapbookers care about details like that!

Thanks a million ba-jillion for sharing this fun series with me. See ya next year!
Wow Lyssa – 52 pages is amazing!! I don’t even know where August went, so I just sat down and caught up on all the amazing layouts you have been sharing all month. I love so many of the pages you shared – from a color combination, the layout design, to the embellishments and texture you added. If I had to pick just 1 favorite though, I’d have to say Day 26 really caught my eye. The colors are so bright and cheery, all the embellishing details tie together beautifully. Day 14 is a close second though – that layout is awesome. Thanks so much for sharing, and for all the inspiration you provide throughout the year. I’m sad this year’s scrapbook month is over but I’m so looking forward to the upcoming holiday catalog! Please tell me there’s a Lyssa & Penny’s wild holiday or halloween adventure coming up!!
Wow, congrats Lyssa on 52 pages! Thank you so much for all of this. Even though I haven’t been able to get started yet due to injuring my back at work (twice!) during the month, I know it’s here when I can! So many favorites to choose from, but if I can only pick one I have to go with that adorable Day 25.
Hooray Lyssa! That’s a lot of pages. My favorites were 28 – I loved how you used the triangle from Quilted Christmas for the banner and 18 – the circle wreath design is very versatile, change out the dsp for a totally different look. Thanks for sharing such beautiful layouts.
Way to go Lyssa! I love the day 29th pages. The Whole Lot of Lovely DSP just speaks to me! I love the Birthday Memories set & DSP. Fussy-cut doesn’t scare me. Like to do it while watching TV. You did good!
You are anazing, Lyssa! And thank you for sharing all of your creativity!! My favorite layout is the Garden double page layout. Love the black background with the peach and floral DSP. A definite case!!!!
Congrats on 52 pages! I wish I could say I made 31 but fell short by one. I learned from today’s project that the crafting room should be off-limits when I’m sick.
In response to your question, I think the first day was my favorite. It was my very first scrapbook page ever and I remember the feeling of accomplishment that came over me when I finished. Plus, I’m an outdoorsy kind of girl. Plus, I love autumn. LOL.
Lyssa, thank you from the bottom of my toes (and heart)… you have blessed my life. I really really needed this!
Thanks so much for sharing the 31 Days of Scrapbooking with us. I came on a little late for this but enjoyed looking at each one. Having a number of young g-grandchildren, it has to be Day 31 for me.
Just received the special offer, the Tranquil Tulip stamp set, this week. Thanks so much!!

There are so many great pages and ideas that it is hard to choose just one! However, the one page that comes to my mind is Day 18, the Christmas wreath. Even though I did not complete one page (traveling and a house reno) I followed along and enjoyed seeing all the creativity. Can’t wait to get my house back in order and back to scrapbooking and card making.
