Welcome to Song of My Heart Stampers' blog series, 31 Pages In 31 Days! Every day during the month of August, I'm posting a single or double page scrapbook layout for your inspiration. It's not too late to PLAY ALONG with us by challenging yourself to complete thirty-one pages, too, and posting your progress online using the hashtag #31pagesin31days. Hope to see your work out there in cyberspace, very soon!
We're also doing a drawing every Monday in August, and this is the last one! It's the GRAND Prize, and the winner is getting not only the package in the photo below, but also a complete set of Scrapbooker's One-Sheet Wonders Vols. 1-3! This is an additional $25 value on top of the bundle, and free shipping. Drum roll, please! The winner is….
Congratulations to Deb W, our grand prize winner for 31 Pages in 31 Days! Contact me at Lyssa@songofmyheartstampers.com with your address, Deb! I appreciate everyone who kindly left blog comments this week and all during August. I think you are ALL winners, and I so wish we could get together to scrapbook!
Ok, ready for cuteness? Me too! We still have three more days to finish out the month!
Get ready to be wowed by a SNEAK PEEK from the new 2016 Holiday Catalog!
You'll ALSO be happy to hear I accepted assistance from a dear friend who wanted to help me out during a challenging week for our family. Penni strikes again with an absolutely precious puppy-themed page!!
Look at the "gnawing" in the upper right corner–I love it! Nothing says "puppy" like chewed-up belongings, right? And it's such an easy way to add texture.
I think Penni nailed the puppy theme with the use of Gorgeous Grunge to spatter the background. It looks just like muddy paw prints! Great tip for those of us who need an animal-related page but don't necessarily own a paw-print stamp.
So the cute little dog houses are from a brand new set of Sizzix Big Shot dies called Home Sweet Home Thinlets. Together with the coordinating stamp set, Sweet Home, the houses (which can lay flat like these or be 3-D boxes!!!) can be decorated for Christmas, Halloween, or everyday–or turned into birdhouses and doghouses–and who KNOWS what else! We demonstrators have had them in our hands for less than a month and already the cuteness is nearing over-load… so when YOU guys can order them starting September first, just go ahead and do it, because there's no way we've already reached the pinnacle of cuteness there is to be made with this bundle.
Now that we have the plan in place for September first, let's make sure you have the 2016 Holiday Catalog and are all set up with an ordering account! Click here to visit my online store and set up a password so I'll be your demonstrator of record and can help you with any questions and make sure you have the latest catalogs and news. There's a big clearance blowout coming up shortly, too–we get more news on that on the 30th and I will be sure to let you know when it starts.
That's it for Day 29! Hope you'll join us tomorrow for Day 30. We're rounding third base and headed for home!
So cute!
Really cute. My husband named our basset hound, TED, which stands for Tactical Explosive Device. No paper was safe from the boy! My husband also works for the Bureau of National Guard. Even though he is little over 2 years old, he still likes to destroy the newspaper or cardboard. So, this layout really hit home!
Lyssa, I am so excited to have won the grand prize. Thank you so much! I just sent an email with my mailing address.
Excellent use of Gorgeous Grunge!
One of my all time favorite stamp sets!
Use it to add just a little something, something to a card!
Even though I didn’t win a prize I want to say thank you for sharing all this month!
