31 Days of Doilies–Day 20

DSCF7983
I'm so sick of doilies!! Whose idea as this, anyway!!?? Just kidding… well, maybe not totally kidding! I'm about to toss some Christmas cards in the mix just to break things up a bit.

We are 2/3 of the way through the 31 Days of Doilies Blog series and I am LOVING the positive feedback I'm hearing. So glad to have provided some inspiration for summer projects and interesting ways to use the products in Stampin' Up's Flirtatious Suite.

The photo tutorial I shared a while back for this baby buggy card is found here. The only thing I changed up (besides using a pink lacey piece of Flirtatious DSP for the patterned paper) was the way the handle is made, now that we no longer carry the smaller oval punch. This handle is new and improved, anyway! I used the Word Window punch and then punched the Large Oval punch around it. It is much sturdier than the original handle.

Embellies on this card are the Lace Ribbon border punch, a Whisper White taffeta box, and just the edge of the Pretty in Pink Dotted Scallop ribbon peeking out from the carriage "hood." These baby carriages are SO easy and SO fun to make!

Enjoy the rest of your day, and I'll see you back here tomorrow for Day 21!

  1. Adorable baby card! Don’t quit with the doilies yet- you’re almost done! I guess that we should expect to never see another doily project once August ends… 🙂
