the wee artist

The pink one was at it again, my little incurable arteest, and the whiteboard in her bedroom is currently an advertisement for the 25th anniversary Stampin' Up convention this summer! We were just listening to the cute convention song from last year, and half an hour later I was presented with this masterpiece. Natalie's heavily into smashbooking ever since the Mother-Daughter This N That Journal Class, so she drew this to look like lined notebook paper–thought that was cute.

She's already old enough to recognize that Stampin' Up is the best : ) Look at the difference in the photo below!

And here's my favorite part…. "green thumb" versus an ink-smeared "creative thumb." LOL!!

  1. Natalie, I especially like the part where you turn into a well dressed creative person after using Stampin Up! stamps (not brown, dull, and boring). Thank you for sharing your art with us and keep on drawing. I think you have captured the spirit of the 25th anniversary spectactularily!

  3. You have mad drawing skills Natalie. SU may be looking for you to join their stamp design team in a few years. You certainly have the joy part of the process down! Hope you take a picture and add it to your This and That journal.
When I was on hold the other day with SU I think I may have heard a snippet of this years new convention song…will have to wait and see if that’s right or not though. Last years will be hard to beat.
Thanks for sharing your drawing talent with your Mom’s readers today.

  4. That board was a delight to look at, Natalie! All the details you drew made it so interesting. I especially loved the green thumb vs. the creative thumb and how using SU! turns a dull stamping experience into a WOW stamping experience!

  7. I love your white board Natalie! It feels like a collage of stampin’ up! love and all of your personal touches are fantastic. I think my favorite part is the happy stampin’ up stamper doing a jump with her curly hair. Happy Thursday Ms. Natalie!!!
