Ok, I have made VERY little progress on my Christmas cards this week, because my demonstrator pre-order arrived!
All the Spring 2017 Occasions Catalog goodies my little heart could desire (well, a bunch of them anyway!) arrived on my doorstep and totally flattened my plans. They were leveled by many things (new papers! new dies! new embellishments!) but the first thing I had to play with was Tasty Trucks, which has my bet for the most popular Sale-A-Bration set of the year. It's so cute!
And I love that this stamp set (get it free beginning January 4th!) comes with seven different hilarious sayings and 8 different decorative accessories, so that you can have a taco truck, a hot dog cart, an ice cream van, cupcakes, pancakes and more. It is seriously one of the most darling stamp sets EVER! had to share a sneak peek with you guys. Sale-A-Bration 2017 is only two weeks away now–hooray!!
I made mine into a taco truck (so easy to line up our photopolymer stamps!) and colored it with the new Watercolor Pencils from Stampin' Up. I am really pleased with these pencils. They're quite soft and blend like a dream. I think I've improved a lot from my first try (see the poppy card here) and I can't wait to give them another go. Those start on January 4th, too.
But first… those Christmas cards are going DOWN this weekend! Are you done with yours? It's a big project, but such a worthwhile one. Stay the course! We can do this!
