sneaky peeky–new faceted “glass” buttons

I had a busy day yesterday, but couldn't resist sitting down for a couple of minutes and making something quick that I could use these new "glass" buttons on! These are coming in the new catalog, and YES I ordered 12 cases of catalogs yesterday, so there will be no shortage of them, local ladies! : ) Stay tuned and after I get the shipping notice, watch for my annual Distribution Daze email with open house hours for you to drop by when it is convenient and pick yours up!

So back to the lovely buttons! I won these on the incentive trip by spinning the Prize Wheel they have set up in the Hospitality Suite, and I was drawn to them immediately because they remind me of the glass doorknobs in my Grandma Griffin's house in Minneapolis. I thought those were so pretty. When I was little I pretended they were diamonds. And now–how many years later–ahem–I am playing with them on my stampin' projects.

I used the smallest two sizes on these quick cards, but there is a larger size that will be awesome for boxes and flower pins and other 3-D items. I really like that the holes are large enough to easily put Baker's Twine through them, too–that was good thinkin'!
