I learned a couple of fantastic new tips today from a fellow demo who has figured out how to make the Scallop Envelope bigger (so it fits a gift card if you want it to) AND how to make the Pillow Box bigger, too. While I was playing around with it today, I discovered how to make the pillow boxes teeny tiny, as well!
The "fry box" above is made from the Pennant Die. Let me tell you, ladies, that is the one die I thought I would NEVER in the world purchase. O me of little faith! I have been experimenting and I have to say it is a big favorite with me now. Wait until you see all the things you can do with it! Silly me, thinking it only made banners. That is the TIP of the iceberg.
The peppermint sticks, lest I be deluged with requests, are on sale at Walmart right by the registers–I think they were .88 a bag. And you're probably wondering how I got the pillow boxes to be clear??? Well, did I tell you the Big Shot can cut through just about anything? This material is clear report covers like the kind you would use in a binding machine. Way cool–especially if you STAMP on the clear plastis with your Stazon pads to personalize!
I can't wait to show these tips (and many, many more) to the ladies who will be attending my Budget Buster Big Shot club from January to April, at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday night of each month. There are two spaces left! You can also attend just for the projects for $10 per person or free with a $25 order. Call me ASAP to enroll–it's an awesome way to stick to a craft budget–have your cake and eat it, too.
and I was just at WalMart yesterday! cute stuff, Lyssa…TFS! Jan
