Sleigh in the Night Sky cards

Had some fun playing with my new Holiday Home stamp set and coordinating Framelit die-cuts for the Big Shot last week and thought I'd share.

TIP: I made the moon by punching out a one-inch circle punch and sponging around it. The hill is made by tearing a piece of scrap cardstock into a hill shape and holding it down along the bottom of the card while sponging over the top half of the card. Easy and WOW! Then you just stamp the Santa and sleigh right over the top of the moon, for the silhouette look.

We'll be making a version of these cards in Christmas Club on Monday–can't wait! If you don't have a plan yet for your holiday cards–contact me and I'll tell you about the options to get together and have some fun learning and accomplishing stuff. IMG_6225

These cards have kind of a non-traditional Christmas color combo–Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon, Pear Pizzazz and Pink Pirouette. The bottom card also has some Night of Navy thrown in. Actually, this last card would work for any time of year, if you only inked up the first half of the saying and left off the Christmastime part.
