I just love this shirt and tie card. Some of you may remember we did a version of this card at my Spring Fling 10-10-10 last year. I updated it for a swap card to based on the new Love You Much punch bundle for Stampin' Up's Leadership Conference, which is just over a week away and yikes I'm not ready!
It's very easy to make and will really please the men in your life for Valentine's Day or their birthday or just a middle-of-the-week pick-me-up. To make the collar, cut down one inch into the center fold of a plain colored blank card. Cut over about one inch towards the center from the fold, and make a matching cut on the outer edge of the card as well. Fold them down at an angle so that the points touch and adhere with a dimensional. I tucked a little strip of DSP behind the collar, glued to the back of the card, to add contrast.
I drew tiny collar buttons and added sponging in Creamy Caramel to define the edges of the shirt and the pocket (made from the Small Tag punch). The Tie is made from Candy Lane DSP stamped with the triple heart stamp from Love You Much, the knot being punched with the Small Tag punch and the pointy part being free-hand.
Tuck a heart from the Heart to Heart punch in the pocket, and it's just perfect! What??? You don't have this punch yet??? What are you waiting for! Call me ASAP and I'll set you up.
Oh Wow, this is a wonderful card. What a fabulous idea to put the heart in the pocket. So cute!
