Wanted to take a minute to share one of my favorite cards from this week with you. I have made well over fifty cards so far today and I need a break! I made this one Thursday night and finished it off on Friday morning (craft ink had to dry).
I used the new Music Notes standard Stampin' Around Wheel and a Basic Black ink cartridge that I purposefully left a little on the dry side so it would be lighter, because I wanted the pattern to be in the background. Then I used Basic Black Craft Ink, a thick, dark pigment ink, for the "F" (from Vintage Vogue) and the flourish (from Elements of Style) so they would really stand out.
Lots of sponging, a little shimmer spray, and there you have it. A quick "note" card for the music lovers in your life. These are very inexpensive because it's just Very Vanilla cardstock except for the Basic Black mat. You could also step it up a notch with Silver Smooch Spritz or Basic Black heat embossing powder.
