There is something so pleasing to the eye about rainbow colors… they just plain make you happy. Every once in a while I get on a rainbow kick, and this last week I went a little wild with washi tape and my new Celebrate You thinlets (free during Sale-A-Bration 2018).
These cards were SO quick (and super economical!) to make. I just scored a bunch of Thick Whisper White cardstock card bases, grabbed my Designer Washi Tapes Basics Packs #1-3 and set to work. Vertical, horizontal, diagonal… ripped off ends or cut off ends… short little swatches or big long stripes… so many possiblities!
The new Mini Stampin' Dimensionals sure came in handy for quick, no-mess attaching my die-cut words to the card base. I am not great with liquid glue (ok, ok, I'm an unqualified disaster with liquid glue) so I avoid using it wherever possible.
I typically use Glue Dots to attach skinny things like die-cuts, but in this case the Celebrate You thinlets are quite large (so awesome for scrapbooking versatility!) so I could use mini dimensionals without any trimming.
This last card is actually a strip of cardstock that I wrapped with washi tape so that the ends would be neatly tucked under. If you don't like the torn edges, that might be an option for ya.

I love washi tape! It's so funny to me that when it first started becoming popular I was like "I don't get it." And now I own it in the rainbow of shades, plus. I store mine in big wide-mount Mason jars as they are too pretty to hide out of sight! How do you store yours?
I bought a storage cabinet at Michael’s that has 3 drawers that will tilt down with 3 rows in each drawer. Made just for Washi tape. Love the rainbow washi cards.
