Couple more cards from my sessions with the Crazy Mixed Up Love stamp set. I have already seen some super clever ideas with this hanger stamp–I'll have to feature that one by itself in a future post! I like the textile-feeling of the washi tape, faux stitching, and Scallop Dotted Border punch on this card. The colors I used are Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muse, Pink Pirouette and Basic Gray. The washi tapes are from the Epic Day and Gingham Garden collections.
Then I also played around with the lightbulb stamp as well. Made this Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry and Basic Black card for the hubs for Father's Day–and forgot to give it to him. Go figure!
Enjoying the new Candy Dots embellishments. It really is nice not to have to worry about where the brad backs go or accidentally piercing too large a hole or putting a hole in the wrong place. I've found you can just plop them down, scoot them over wherever you want them to be placed exactly, and then press down. Then you can pull them up with a finger nail, but it will take some of the paper with it–good strong adhesive!
