Fun little trick with window sheets

DSCF9994
I made this card for the Creative Crew challenges over at Splitcoaststampers. If you couldn't tell from my projects lately, one of the challenges was daffodil-themed! You only had to use the colors, but I love the flowers, so I was looking for them wherever I could find them. I found this flower stamp in the Just Believe set (I think they're actually lilies, but work with me).

Not totally crazy about the card itself, but I do love the little strip of window sheet that I embossed with the Finial Press folder on the Big Shot and added to the left of the flowers. Doesn't that look neat? What a fun thing to do with those little leftover strips of window sheet after you've made a box or something.

We sell window sheets in packs of 2, 12×12-size (item #114323) on page 216 of the Idea Book & Catalog. You can cut them with ordinary scissors, and with many of our less-detailed punches, but where window sheets really shine is in the Big Shot. And now you know you can emboss them, too!

I Love Stampin' Up!
