Fabulous ocean waves background makes a seahorse playground!

I just ADORE the fabulous cobalt blue and crisp bright white of this card! I am packing for the Stampin' Up incentive trip to Greece (can't believe how close it is!!) and I am trying to stick with a blue and white color scheme to keep my clothing options versatile. I guess it bled over into the craftroom, because this is what I came up with in my latest craft session!

Seahorse silhouette pigment sprinkles paper Stampin Up seaside notions ocean stamps

I shared about Seaside Notions already in this post and promised you more… I didn't think it would be so soon, but when I opened my brand new pack of See a Silhouette papers, this pattern was just crying out for a nautical card.

PRO TIP: just stamping the seahorse image in blue ink on white cardstock would visually get lost on such a busy background, so I heat-embossed it in white on Blueberry Bushel. When you're embossing on beachy themed cards, randomly scatter a pinch of sprinkles on the image–it will look sandy. Add a sprtizer of Shimmer Spray or some Wink of Stella for sparkle. Super fun!

I can't wait to tackle the rest of those GORGEOUSLY colored papers in the See A Silhouette pack. The suite didn't do much for me, but the designer papers sure did! Those intense, unapologetic colors make me so happy. Which of the new papers floats YOUR boat?
