Hooray for Holly! Spring scrapbook page

DSCF2150
One of my newest recruits, Holly, had her first show last night (happened to be at my house due to the hostess' tiny apartment) and she did great! She's gonna be a natural.
This is the scrapbook page which she came up with for the Make N Take and which everyone loved. Her husband Josh even got into the spirit by suggesting using the oval punches for the title–wasn't that a great idea? Some of the gals spelled out "Easter," "mother," "egg hunt," and "birthday." That's the great thing about alphabet stamps–complete versatility! Taffy Alphabet is shown here stamped in Tempting Turquoise, with the new Scallop Oval Punch for a mat. Other colors used were Green Galore (for the Stampin' Around Wheel), Gable Green (photo mat) and Pixie Pink, all from the Bold Brights color family.
You're off to a great start, Holly!

  2. Great page! I love the idea of using the scallop ovals to frame the letters! I also think it was a neat idea to use the spiral punch at the top of the journaling box! I keep forgetting to use that punch. TFS!
