I've got Christmas on the brain this weekend as I prep for the opening night of Christmas Club 2017! I can't wait to see my local stampers. What with one thing and another, it's been too long! And we're all itchin' to start our holiday cards.
So it's no surprise today's inspiration layout is a Christmas wreath! These are fun to do because you can use just one good large photo, or tuck smaller, not quite as great photos all around the wreath. Quite versatile.
Isn't that sweet? My circles are 2 1/2 inches, but you can use smaller punches or die-cut your circles if you prefer. I LOVE the patterns in the Be Merry 12×12 pack. It just takes all the guesswork out of coordinating. The wood-patterned sheet is from the new Coffee Break pack.
It was fun to use up scraps of special ribbon and even a few old Real Red buttons. You just can't go wrong with the wreath!
Are you ready to give this one a try? Go for it! I'd love to see your layouts popping up on the 31 Pages in 31 Days Facebook group. There have been some truly amazing spreads posted, and more are added every day. See you there!
What a great title page for a Christmas album! Can’t wait to try this!
This layout and wreath makes me ridiculously happy. I love this DSP so much, too and love how the patterns are shown off with the wreath design. I will be using this layout for sure!! Thanks so much, Lyssa!!
What a great idea and it makes for a great layout!!
I love this, I will have to case this one.
Great idea for a layout! I can see myself using this idea with lots of scrap pieces of DSP!
Thank you Lyssa for a beautiful yet easy layout. Might even be able to do this one tonight. Happy, happy, happy!
J’aime beaucoup l’idée.
One of my favorite pages so far! A great way to use up scraps. This layout could showcase our annual photo Christmas card or be adapted for several smaller photos.
Love the simple-ness of this Christmas page. I can do this!!
