Hi everyone! Today's layout inspiration is a design from my one-sheet wonders for scrapbookers. I had a sheet of cheapo yellow paper to use up that didn't coordinate with Stampin' Up colors, so a one-sheet template was perfect. I was able to put the last of my Foil Frenzy cardstock to good use as decorative circles in different sizes.

This is one of those pages that didn't photograph as well as it looks in real life! What looks sort of greenish or tan here is a reflection off the foil elements, which in reality really snazz up the layout. Oh well! You'll have to trust me : )

This spread is a graduation layout made from leftovers of a Paper Pumpkin kit. If you're not familiar with Paper Pumpkin, in a nutshell, it's Stampin' Up's automatic monthly craft kits by mail. Each kit contains a stamp set, ink spot(s), pre-cut pieces, embellishments, full color pictures and instructions. There is even adhesive! All you need is a clear block and a pair of scissors.

This particular kit from December 2016 made an adorable 5×7 smashbook on rings. There were a generous amount of stickers and page elements left over afterwards, so I used them up on this page.

I'm so excited for the new DOOR I ordered this week for my craft room! We're having this old house sided soon, and we decided to replace the original 1921 doors in both front and back for insulation purposes. Since my stamp room has our back door in it, and only one window, I chose a full-length glass one that will let in a lot more light. It was more expensive, but hey, I spend a ton of time in that room, right?

Between that and my new custom-sized tabletop, I feel pretty fancy! Do you love your stamp space? What's the one thing you'd change if you could?

  1. I do love my stamping space – I do my stamping at my kitchen table where there is wonderful natural light . Lyssa I think you will love your new door! The one thing I would change that people wouldn’t expect cooking and eating to happen in the kitchen every night! Not really, but… sometimes at least.

  2. Just change up to use whatever the student’s school colors are. It’s photos that make the page. The layout is the base. Love that you do this each August. I appreciate the thought and effort that goes into each one.
