Nothing says 4th of July like red, white and blue plus stars, and I pulled out every star-making tool I had in the craft room to make this two page inspiration page for Day Twenty-Three of 31 Pages in 31 Days! I designed these pages with a "progression layout" meant for a series of pictures marching across a spread. It's perfect for parade photos and really gives you the impression of movement. In my family we don't typically watch the parade since the noise and crowds really bring out the sensory issues with the kids, but we live on block off the parade route so we are entertained by the floats, firetrucks and antique cars that use our cross street during the day. And, no sunburns… bonus!
If it made stars, I used it on my Independence Day spread. I started with the Confetti Stars Border Punch, the added big star frames and journaling spaces with the Stars Collection Framelit Dies for the Big Shot, and then finished it off with MORE stars in two sizes, from the new Medium Star punch and the littlest one from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack. 
TIP: It doesn't show too well in the photo, but the smallest stars were made of Dazzlin' Diamonds Glimmer Paper, which you can color any color you want with a MARKER. Awesome, huh?
With a layout this busy, you want a bold headline, so I pulled out my Larger Than Life Alphabet stamps and stamped it in Real Red ink. Then I hand-cut it, and added another hand-cut mat of Dazzlin' Diamonds Glimmer Paper to help it really pop. It turned out looking like one of those expensive layered chipboard stickers you pay a fortune for at the craft store. Love that.
