31 Pages in 31 Days: day twenty-nine

Hi ya'll! Welcome back to 31 Pages in 31 Days, my summer scrapbooking blog series for August 2012. If you're just joining us, be sure to look in the archives for all the pages and spreads you missed!

I mentioned our Week One homework assignment previously… this was my original "inspiration" sample to help them get their juices flowing as to how they could incorporate at least three of the four elements I had given them. I took my colors directly from the Designer Series Papers (from the Floral District collection) and I used some of every coordinating ribbon I had in my stamp room to weave and wrap around the Hearts Collection Framelit die cut. Kinda fun! Mini glue dots made it a lot less putzy than it could have been, so don't be afraid to try it yourself. It looks pretty neat!
