Howdy! Welcome back to another installment of 31 Pages in 31 Days, my August 2012 scrapbooking challenge! I hope you're enjoying the layouts! I love to put together pages to use with really nice family portraits… maybe because we very rarely GET family portraits, and when we do they are pretty casual. So it's kind of fun to do something a little more formal sometimes!
Here's the second page, which goes on the right hand side…
I'm looking forward to making this spread with my Scrapbooking Summer School girls on Thursday night, and showing them all about how Framelits are God's gift to scrapbookers! We're going to use every one of the sizes in the Labels Collection Framelits for the Big Shot that night! It's super easy to make both photo frames and photo mats that coordinate perfectly and precisely when you use Framelits.
Here's a Scrapper's Sketch for you for this layout…
I like the neutral-yet-formal color scheme of these pages–I think they'll go great with the types of clothing moms often select when trying to coordinate a large group for a photo. And who knows, maybe even having a great layout like this will inspire someone to finally get out there and schedule a much-procrastinated photo session! The colors I chose were Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Not Quite Navy, with accents of Soft Suede and Marina Mist.

I am participating in this class via the mail. I AM LOVING THIS CLASS! It has shown me a whole new dimension to scrapbooking and rekindled my first love of scrapbooking. The designs are very pleasing to the eye and versitile too. I am looking forward to MORE of the class and finishing the challenges that go with it. Thanks Lyssa for all your hard work.
Again…very pretty. Thanks, I am saving them and hope to get time to work on some pages soon!!
Love your blue birds of happiness! One of my favorite punches!
