Whoo hoo! We are headed into the home stretch! I hope you have enjoyed this blog series as much as I have. Planning to finish out the month STRONG, with some awesome pages and some even awesomer blog candy!
Congratulations to the following weekly winners:
- Week One–Debbie D (need to email me your mailing address, Debbie!) zwolaneks@att.net
- Week Two–Cheryl T
- and announcing Week Three's winner-Jennifer Newsome! CONGRATS!
Well, I promised you something really exciting for the final week of scrapbooker's blog candy, and I think you'll agree it's pretty awesome! How would you like to win ALL OF THE PAGES FROM SCRAPBOOKING SUMMER SCHOOL? Yeah baby!!!
One lucky winner will receive every spread that we made in class over our four-week session. Some you have seen on the blog this month, others are yet to come. They were all handmade by me from my own original sketches and color combos, composed of 100% quality Stampin' Up materials, and are well-adhered, clean and ready to just pop your photos in and add a quick line or two of journalling. Then it's into the album they go, and you'll have 30 pages total done in no time flat. WOWIE KAZAAM!!
You know the drill–leave a comment once per day on any of the week's posts with the 31 Pages in 31 Days banner heading. And because I know some of you will just be dying to win this fantastic prize, I'm going to give you a chance to earn even more entries into the random drawing! Place an order on my shopping website using the special event code FT4PASZ2 and your name will go into the drawing once for every $20 you spend (before shipping and tax). There is NO limits : ) You MUST enter and/or order no later than midnight CST, August 31st. And I'm sorry, but only U.S. residents can order through my website. If you're from another country, you can go to www.stampinup.com to find out if yours is one of the many countries Stampin' Up now does business with!
All right! Let's get down to inspiration today… and see one of the spreads you can win this week!

I just ADORE circles, and the new Circles Framelits came home to momma on my very first order from the new Idea Book & Catalog. I often use them in scrapbooking, and the Framelits make it so stinkin' easy to create all sizes of circles, nesting mats, and skinny accent pieces in no time!
This page uses patterned papers from the Just Add Cake collection —on sale here!— and I pulled out Marina Mist and Pumpkin Pie for my cardstock colors. The largest Framelit circle is die cut into the So Saffron piece that spans the two pages, and on the backside is this fun notebook paper print, so I just flipped that over and adhered it down. I scattered the circles randomly (and we all know how long that "random" look takes sometimes, huh?) and accented some with paper piercing and others with Candy Dots brads or buttons.

The simple headline came from the Happy Day stamp set stamped in Wild Wasabi ink. I also used Daffodil Delight narrow single-stitch grosgrain ribbon on either end of the So Saffron strip to give the eye a visual stopping-place when it reached the edge of the page.
Got questions?
Unlike many scrapbooking websites, I talk alot about WHY I did something. Not just things like why I chose the colors I did, but why I put things where I put them on the page–and sometimes why I left things off. Sometimes we just know where to put something because "it just feels right." I have a background in teaching basic graphic design at the college level, I know that good design principles can be taught if they don't come naturally. I'm a big fan of the "teach a man to fish" style of learning, so my goal for all my projects and event is always to teach principles rather than just how to recreate exactly what I did. If after an event you can't go home and do it yourself, then I've failed as a teacher! But that hardly ever happens, because I have such good looking and intelligent students : )

So if you're ever wondering about something on a page or card, please don't hesitate to ask! I LOVE what I do, and I eat, drink, sleep and BREATHE this stuff! Happy to help.
Ok! Don't forget to enter to win the blog candy, and shop here for even more chances to win, and I'll see you tomorrow for Day 27 of Song of My Heart Stampers' 31 Pages in 31 Days Challenge!
