Hi there, friends! Thanks for joining us for Day Nine of 31 Pages in 31 Days, Song of My Heart's annual scrapbooking challenge and blog series. Each day in August 2017 I am posting an inspiration page or double-page layout. Use it as a jumping-off point, or strike out on your own path, but let's get those pages DONE and DUSTED!
Today's inspiration layout is a single page using Stampin' Up's Eastern Palace product suite. It's super economical because it uses one-inch strips of patterned paper. Perfect for using up scraps!
Love this color scheme… Tranquil Tide, Very Vanilla and Dapper Denim, with gold accents and the foil specialty sheets from the 12×12 pack of Eastern Palace papers. Such an elegant look, cooler tones, but warmed up by the vanilla and gold.
Ready to recreate this layout at home? Here's what you'll need:
The Banner Triple Punch is super handy not only for making banner ends on pennants, but also for the little leftover arrow-shaped scrap, which I often use as a page or card accent. And look how adding a large Glitter Enamel Dot to the center of a plain button totally transforms it into a completely different embellishment!
Do you have enough scrappy strips leftover to pull together and coordinate a page like this? I bet you do! Thanks for making Song of My Heart part of your day! See you tomorrow for Day 10 (already!)
Just lovely! Hope to play today… my Mom’s been having some health issues. Can’t wait to use up some scraps. Thanks for the inspiration Lyssa!
Oh, I love this page, especially the button with a glimmer dot!
I love using up scraps!
Great use of the Eastern Elegance DSP
