I promised you some sneak peeks this month from the upcoming Holiday 2016 Catalog–and today's inspiration page shows off another fall product suite you are going to love!

Petals & Paisleys is my favorite product suite in a long time–a gorgeous 18-piece stamp set, 19 coordinating Framelit die-cuts, matching Designer Series 12×12 papers and an 8.5×11 cardstock pack, an embossing folder, foil sheets AND a ribbon trio set–it's almost too much!! Too much for my checkbook, that is! All those products found their way to my house MAGICALLY and of course I have no choice but to use them since they were obviously meant to be mine. So you'll be seeing lots of cards with them very soon. You can order the suite or the individual products beginning September 1st, 2016.

But for today–pages! Look at this gorgeous, trendy palette for fall…

Suggested Color Combination:

The Designer Series paper pack is a specialty assortment with two extra sheets that are foil-embossed with copper, the season's trendiest metallic. I didn't feel like embossing when I made this layout, so I just fussy-cut a few pieces of one of the patterns out for some page embellishments.

TODAY'S TIP: sometimes when you want to use a stamp as a headline, it's not big enough to stand alone and garner the attention that a page title really needs. Try grouping a couple of stamps together to give them more impact and "presence." Two banners, some ribbon and an embellishment grouping draw the eye better than a single, narrow sentiment would. Another tip–stamp the small sentiment on the lightest color you're using on your spread, so that it visually rises to the "surface."

Wow, tomorrow is Day 29 and our final weekly giveaway, already! Don't miss your last chance to comment and enter. We have three very happy winners so far, and I'm looking forward to finding out who the Grand Prize winner is tomorrow. See you then!

  1. Wow! Another great layout with some of the new DSP! It is great to see it up close, and the fussy cuttin of the copper embellishments is awesome! It would be possible to cut ot a lot of pretty trims from just one sheet of that paper, making it a great value. Thanks, Lyssa.
