Monochromatic Wedding Card Stampin' Up flower punches

I really hope you like these, because I thought they turned out great! But you know me and my monochromatic kick… I know it's not for everyone.

Monochromatic Wedding Card Stampin' Up punches

I don't even know where all these little punched flowers came from. I was doing some cleaning out of my scrap bin this week and stumbled across a baggie with seriously, like 200 of these tiny punches, all the same color (Island Indigo). What on earth do you suppose they were from???

So I just started playing. I used all but six of them by the time I was done!

Monochromatic Wedding Card Stampin' Up wreath punches

If you're looking to make your own version, the little flower punch is from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack, and the stamp set is Label Love with the coordinating Artisan Label Punch (which by the way, happen to be on the Weekly Deals this week! Nifty how that worked out).

  1. I really love the way you use the flower punches. Very subtle but oh so effective! I’ll be sure to use this as inspiration

  2. I love all of them. They look really elegant and you could make them in the colour of the brides maids or the favourite colour of the couple.

  3. Hmm it’s a near-tie between number 1 and 4, but I think my favorite is number 1, just cause it’s not as symmetrical as 4. I like off-kilter!
Thanks for sharing, I love to see your fantastic creations.

  4. I forgot to add, I think whatever the wedding colors are would be great for these cards — they’d look good in any color, even white!

  5. I have to pick just one???? They’re all gorgeous! If I had to, though, I would probably say the third. Or the fourth.
    OK, the fourth.
And Blackberry Bliss is my new favorite color, so I would probably use that with Whisper White.
    Beautiful cards, Lyssa!

  6. I really like them all, but the 4th one with the embossed lines is probably my favorite. I really like Island Indigo, but I think these layouts could be used with just about any color (matching the bride’s favorites perhaps?) and they would be darling. Thanks for sharing!

  7. Love them all, but favorite is the fourth…something about the embossing and the way the flowers accents it! Would love to see it all in white for a wedding!

  8. I love them all, but I think I like number 4 best. I think very vanilla would look very nice for a wedding card with crumb cake for the lettering.

  9. I like the Firestone the best but I also thought the circle of flowers was cool because it reminded me of a wedding ring.

  11. Lyssa……put simply…they rock. these could be turned to ANY bridal colour scheme and maintain the spectacular nature of their simplicity. So love them all. I think #4 (the scored one) is the fave altho the wee ring one is delish too.

  12. I like the 4th one best, but all of them are pretty! So many color options–melon mambo & gumball green for a teen girl card would be so cute! how about basic gray & daffodil delight or 2 tones of the same color? so many options! thanks for the inspiration!

  14. I like the 4th one the best. I’d like to see it in black and white with accents of silver. Maybe emboss the black stamp and add a silver layer or the color of the wedding (light pink) behind it?

  15. I’m visualizing this in Crisp Cantaloupe or Lost Lagoon…but I agree it would be beautiful in ANY color (Smoky Slate would be my next choice.) I like #3 the best, but might try it with the score lines you have in #4.
And…SO many pearls! I love it.

  16. I like them all! But will probably CASE #4, so that’s my pick!
Wait, maybe its the first one. LOL! Such cute variations!

  17. I love all of them but the 4th one down, the last one, definitely my fav! I think it would also be beautiful made with some of the colors in the ‘Subtles’ especially the pinks, beautiful cards Lyssa!

  18. My favorite is #1. I love the flowers arranged vertically and the random pearl sizes. I’m loving cards with rainbow elements lately – I wonder how these would look with a white background and flowers in all the colors of the rainbow? If I had the punch, I’d be tempted to give it a try.

  19. I like the last one best! I’m a big fan of black and white for weddings, but right now I’m loving Blackberry Bliss!

  20. I love the first card with the flowers vertical on the right side… Another color that would be great would be a light gray with the pearl. 😀

  21. I like the fourth one the best. It would look good in all white with just the color on the label or maybe on the pearls…

  22. I just love number 3! So clean and elegant, and the negative space is perfect. I think I’ll have to recreate this one in Perfect Plum…but wouldn’t Rich Razzleberry look divine?!?!?

  23. Love the monochromatic look. They’re all beautiful but I think my favorite is number 4 followed very closely by number 1.

  24. They are ALL so pretty, it’s super hard2choose. Love how the flowers look different depending on pearl size.at 1st look it doesn’t appear they are all the same size! I have to go with the first one vertical style. My initial choice for an alternative colour scheme would be blackberry bliss but perhaps it’s too dark. I think maybe Melon mambo or lost lagoon would be good.

  25. They are all beautiful but I think I would pick the last one as my favorite. …probably would chose the bride’color but if doing for birthday I would chose elegant envy or a pretty pink.love your work.

  26. All four are great! But the forth one is the tops! This card would look great in white with pearls! Any color really.

  29. I like number two, although I would probably have to get a straight edge out, and make a gradient of the sizes of the pearls. OCD strikes again!
Love how the same materials can make so many different pretty designs.

  30. They are all fabulous, but #4 seems to be clean and balanced. However, the other 3 cards are also clean and I like the way each one has a negative look to them. As far as other colors, I think any color would look good, I would probably try a shade different between the base card and the flowers so that the flowers stand out alittle more and don’t get lost. It is hard to just pick one – because I like them all. I guess I would pick #4, only because it caught my eye first. You keep me inspired.
    Great Job! Lyssa

  31. Hi Lyssa! Personally, I liked them all, but if I had to choose just one, it would be #4. It’s the quilting technique that really caught my eye. It would look good in any color, especially Coastal Cobana for a springtime feeling. Can we do this in club?
