Here we go again! seems like I just did last year's review and it's already time to do this year's. I enjoyed walking through my blog files and picking out my personal favorite project for each month. It was HARD!! But I chose just one, or this would be crazy long. Enjoy a quick "best of the best" tour during our 2018 Year in Review!
In JANUARY we had just come out with Brusho Crystal Color and I was experimenting with it. It was messy and fun!
In FEBRUARY my favorite project was this heart easel card with a chocolate themed stamp set. Way easier to make than you think it is!
In MARCH, another Brusho card captured the title for my favorite project overall. This was a putzy card but I just loved the results.
In APRIL I featured a masculine theme for my Class of the Month. This was my favorite card using the new Tailored Tag punch.
In MAY, I was having fun with an ice cream set also for Class of the Month Club. This card had to make my highlight reel for 2018.
JUNE was my hardest month to choose a single card. I was having a major mojo month, I guess! But if I have to pick ONE, this is it.
In June and JULY I was really getting into my new Stamparatus. I did a series of tips you can view here. Love these colors.
In AUGUST we started our Christmas Club. This Dashing Deer card turned out to be my favorite of all 16 designs we made this year.
In SEPTEMBER I jumped on the cotton boll farmhouse decor trend hard with this card from Country Life.
Country Life almost won again for OCTOBER but was edged out this wreath and berries card using the Frosted Bouquet dies.
NOVEMBER was a good month for mojo, too, and it was hard to narrow it down. But I really loved this chicken wire basket card.
DECEMBER isn't quite done yet, but this sheet music Joy to the World card has been my favorite of the month thus far.
So there we have it! Were any of these particular favorites of yours, too? Did you pin any of them?
It's so fun to have a blog to be able to look back through and watch my creative journey unfold over the years. I cannot believe that this is my job! If that sounds like something you might want to get into, it would be my honor to help you get started with Stampin' Up, share techie tips to get you set up online, and help you create a beautiful style and a unique brand name you love to post under.
Maybe you're not up for the traditional home party style of selling, but a part time job online working from home would be just the ticket. Let's chat! Lyssa@songofmyheartstampers.com and if you're ready to get the Starter Kit part going, here's the link to join. http://bit.ly/joinSUnow
Thanks for the little trip down Memory Lane! And thanks for being a part of the Song of My Heart family in 2018. I can't wait to see where the road takes us next year!
Just found you a few months ago, so I enjoyed the months from the beginning! Love September, probably because I loved it before I owned it then hit wall and hated it thinking it was a limited use stamp. This card really makes me love it again. Tfs all your talent!
superbe série, j’aime beau ces cartes très élégantes. Bisous et Bonne année 2019, pleine de bonheur, une bonne santé pour toute la famille et de nombreuses belles cartes.
Gros bisous
Martine
Hi Lyssa, my favorite is January’s. Couldn’t wait to get that stamp set, but have been intimidated by it ever since, mainly because I’ve not had enough time to play with it. Definitely on my must list this year. Second is February’s chocolate heart. I hope you have instructions for this sweet (pun intended) card, lol. Third would have to be June’s. Love that Enjoy Life set so so much and your card is fabulously simple but super attractive! And the last I’ll mention is October’s – so elegant, I can’t leave it out. Lyssa, I love to see your cards, and your review was a wonderful gift. Thank you so much!
