Ok, as SOON as I saw the next set of In Colors on the cruise, I couldn't wait to get my hands on them and try this color combo. And wow, does it rock! This is Pear Pizazz–the fresh new green, a little darker than Celery; Peach Parfait–the most yummy shade of lightish muted orange you can think of; and Poppy Parade, a nice bright light red. I had a ball pulling together those three colors to make some very cheerful thank you cards.
Here's a few more variations on that color theme. Poppy Parade also looks amazing with Daffodil Delight and Certainly Celery, as seen n the "Kind Thanks" card on the right. I love the simple layout of the card with the circles–so cute but simple and easy to mass produce.
Then I had one more goal before I hit the hay last night, and that was to cut into the Greenhouse Gala double-sided papers, which just blew me away. The patterns are BOLD and gorgeous. The graphic artists at SU deserve a raise for this one! I knew as soon as I saw this particular pattern in Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, and Pear Pizazz, that it would make great cards even without much else. So I left these card super simple and just let the amazing DSP shine. And this pattern wasn't even my favorite out of the pack! I can't wait to fool around with more of this paper.
So there ya go–some sneaky peekys from the next catalog. Now we ALL have to wait to order from it on July 1st! I LOVE this time of year. It's so exciting to be a Stampin' Up demonstrator. I'm meeting with a friend this very afternoon to chat about how Stampin' Up can enrich her family's life. I'd be honored to answer your questions, too. Give me a call anytime!
Beautiful cards! I love love love the dsp too! Gotta get some of that now. 🙂
Beautiful. That Greenhouse Gala DSP just speaks for itself doesn’t it?
Wow Lyssa! What a gorgeous bunch of cards! I can’t wait to get my order on Tuesday. I will be waiting for the UPS man. If he’s smart, he’ll throw the box from the truck as he drives by…otherwise, I may attack him. LOL!!!
What set are you using there? Is it a new one?
Should’ve read yesterday’s blog entry … found my answer! 🙂
Nice set!
