Think of what I would have missed

A customer friend and I were talking the other day and we realized that she, a former Stampin' Up demonstrator, had dropped her demo-ship right about the time I started five years ago. It got me thinking (not always a dangerous thing). What if I had quit, like I intended to, five years ago, too? After all, I bought the Starter Kit only because I wanted the products, at the great price. I never intended to make a business out of it at all.

I had NO IDEA IT WAS GOING TO BE LIKE THIS!! I cannot emphasize how much God has blessed my life through Stampin Up and my fantastic customer friends. Just think–just THINK–of all the things I would have missed if I had not taken the plunge, purchased the Starter Kit, and gotten hooked…

Friendships I treasure–I was so lonely before Stampin' Up! I was the only stay at home mom I knew, and I never had nights out with the girls. I used to see gal-friends shopping together in the outlet mall, laughing together, and wish it was me. That has all radically changed! Now I'm busy and happy, and blessed with awesome friends I never would have met if it weren't for stamping.

Self confidence–who would ever have thought I'd spring at the chance to speak before 500 women? Not me, for sure! But I LOVE sharing what I love and it is a JOY to spread the happiness around. My SOMHS group meetings are the highlight of my month. Thanks to Stampin' Up, I have learned how to book airline flights, run seminars and retreats, learn HTML, drive in big cities, talk to complete strangers, present at conferences, manage my own business affairs, and master new techniques every week. That feels so good!

Travel–I adore traveling and it can be so expensive. Thanks to Stampin' Up, I have gone to Denver, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Orlando, the Big Island of Hawaii, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, Barbados, Antigua, St. John, Puerto Rico, and soon I'll add Nashville and Alaska to the list. I can honestly say that the likelihood of me going to 95% of those places without Stampin' Up sending me there is pretty much zero. I can't WAIT to see where we go next.

Compensation–I have no idea why they pay anyone to have this much fun, because I'd sure do it for free! But Stampin' Up does pay you, and well, if you set goals and work consistently, whether it be a couple hours a week or one workshop a month, or full time whole hog, like me. I pay for my kids' Christian school tuition each month with great delight. I'm about to get a much-longed for new couch, our first piece of "totally brand new, totally my choice of color and design" furniture in our married lives. And I can't tell you how fun it is to buy pretty much whatever I want out of each new catalog, because Stampin' Up has provided the opportunity for me to make good money while staying home and being a mom.

There's so much more, but I need to get something else done today! I said all this to say, it really hit me this week–if you quit, you'll never know what you missed. Right now, Stampin' Up is offering to let former demos come back for just $35. Maybe it wasn't the right time for you before. Maybe with the support of a good upline, at a different place in your life, you can make it fly. I think you owe it to yourself to try. Call me today for details on how you can join or re-join Stampin' Up, and WHO KNOWS what amazing things you'll be writing about five years down the road? (920) 261-3962

  1. Otay – you talked me into it. We signed up a couple years ago to get “stuff” and be an encouragement to my baby girl.
But $35 for more “stuff” and getting back into the FUN you describe sounds like a super deal.
Now about girls’ night out, you think my wife would let me . . . 🙂
