Just gonna start this off with a disclaimer right off the bat! I’m required to say that less than 1% of demonstrators earn the incentive trip annually, and my results aren’t typical. I will say that being a Stampin’ Up demonstrator is totally worth it even if all you ever do is enjoy your discount and the sisterhood! If you’re interested in joining us, let me know and it would be my honor to transparently explain how it all works. I’ll help you set goals you will enjoy working towards, whether it’s just building your collection, learning new techniques, or having a little income on the side. Let’s chat! –Lyssa
So this month Natalie and I dashed off for a week of fun in Florida right after finals. Mike and Dan couldn’t join us, so it was just us girls. We had the best time! I love my precious daughter and it was fun to spend time with just her. We had NO agenda other than to sleep in, eat our way around the parks, and enjoy the fabulous resort. Stampin’ Up put us all up at the Grand Floridian!!! It was stunningly gorgeous.

Yes, that’s Natalie on a scooter. Her knee surgery was scheduled for the end of the month, so this trip was a good reminder of why it needed to be done! And a nice way to take her mind off the impending procedure.

We arrived on Tuesday and had fun running into demonstrators all over the place. When we checked in, Stampin’ Up included two WDW gift certificates to cover our food costs for the trip! It really is an amazing thing to earn this level of spoiling!
On Wednesday we had a full Grand Floridian buffet breakfast (Mickey waffles!!) and then a two hour general session with the corporate team. I always enjoy the sneak peeks of upcoming product lines, and the Q & A with the movers and shakers at Stampin’ Up! We also got an amazing new scrapbooking kit, and learned where the 2027 incentive trip will be–Costa Rica! Another place I’ve never been. Unfortunately Mike won’t be able to go to that one as it will be during the school year. So it may be another girls’ trip! I’m excited to learn more about a new country to me.

All week long we were spoiled with prizes, candy and Mickey Ears ice cream treats in the Hospitality Suite. But the rest of the time was ours to relax or spend with families. Lots of demonstrators brought extra guests along (at their own expense) and I met some adorable babies, newlyweds, new graduates, grandkids and of course lots of spouses.

Then we hit the parks! We started with Magic Kingdom for nostalgia’s sake, then hit Hollywood Studios for all the new Star Wars stuff, and ended with a last night party at Pandora in the Animal Kingdom (out of this world!) It was just the right amount of parks for us as it was SUPER hot already with sauna-like humidity. But we weren’t in a hurry so we just enjoyed ourselves, ate way too much Dole Whip and rode the monorail multiple times a day!

All too soon it was Sunday and time to go home. But I was glad to get back to work on the new studio and keep working towards earning the 2026 incentive trip cruise to Alaska! Wish me luck! I’m very motivated : )
