See 34 different holiday swap cards in my first unboxing video!

Unboxing videos are all the rage–people opening their freshly-arrived box of whatever product and giving their unscripted, off-the-cuff thoughts about it. Even my 14 year old Lego fanatic has seen dozens of these.

I thought it was all kind of silly until I got a package of 34 Stampin' Up Advisory Board Alumni swaps in the mail and my FIRST thought was, "I gotta share this with my stampers!"

So… here it is–my first (and maybe last) unboxing video! You'll have to tell me what you think.

Kind fun seeing all those different cards, huh? Weren't they great? Not a dud in the bunch.

If you enjoyed this totally random walk-through and would like to see more, leave me a comment below. Which do you prefer–my regular technique-based short tutorials, or a less formal, unscripted approach? Does the length matter more than anything else? Or do you mind if it's a little long, as long as it's interesting?

Thanks for your thoughts, friends!

  3. Love seeing all those cards, but some of them had a glare on them and were hard to distinguish. As for future videos, since my computer time is limited because of eye problems, “shorter is better”, lol I always lo frward to your tutorials and LARGE photos of cards!

  4. Loved seeing all the swaps Lyssa, thank you so much for sharing!! I thought the length was perfect, and I appreciated that you tried to deconstruct some of the elements so that we can try CASE-ing at home. I hope you’ll do more, as I love seeing all the fun swaps people make for different events!

  6. That was a great idea. Gave us all a chance to see what others are doing, and more fun to listen to something other than a tutorial, which can sometimes be kinda dry.
