Ready to Ride? roadworthy cards

Penni made the BEST set of cards from her pack of Ready to Ride papers (retiring and while supplies last!) and I had to share them with you. At first glance, this whole suite of products from Stampin’ Up is about motorcycles, but when you get into the paper pack you can see it’s got a much broader range of appeal than you’d think.

There is one sheet (you’ll get 2) in the pack designed in panels to be cut apart and put on cards or scrapbook pages. They range from dirt bikes to Route 66, old gas stations, road signs, tools and racing gear. You’re sure to find something to appeal to the guys in your life (or a special gal pal who loves engines, too!)

All you have to do to come up with great cards is cut apart the panels, cut mats that measure 1/4 inch wider than the panels, and then cut card bases to coordinate. Penni said she got 11 cards just from that one sheet!

Of course, the suite collection comes with matching stamps and dies. Those are amazingly intricate–be prepared with adhesive sheets on the back of your cardstock before you run it through your machine, so you don’t drive yourself nuts trying to get glue on all those little chrome elements!

Thanks to Penni for letting me showcase her cards! Now go snag a pack of that Ready to Ride paper before it sells out! Here’s a list of the color cardstocks she used to coordinate.
