Inspiration abounded at the monthly meeting of Song of My Heart Demonstrators & Friends in January! The new year is off to a fabulous start with all the ideas shared by my talented team, combined with all the fun things I had to share from my trip to Leadership Conference in Houston last week. We had three great prizes, lots of recognition and celebration, yummy treats, and of course–lots of stampin'!
Many thanks to Julie, Penni and Jena for bringing cute Make N Takes, and Kristin for demo'ing a great gift card holder. My Make N Take for the group was the very first one in this post, wrapped in the new Silver Baker's Twine, inspired by one of Shelli's projects at Leadership. The challenge items (Cherry Cobbler wide ribbon) were also fantastic this month and everyone who participated got a free package of rhinestones.
If you've been thinking of joining up, January 28th begins a super fantastic sign-up special, where a bonus $25 worth of items you choose is added to the Starter Kit, bringing the total to $150 worth of anything you want, for just $99 and no shipping. You simply cannot beat that! And Stampin' Up announced that ALL new recruits between July 1st, 2013, and the end of registration this year, get to attend convention for FREE. Yup, FREE! Can you imagine? This is a VERY possible dream, friends!
Email me to hear more about the Sale A Bration special (ending March 31st), or for info on our local meetings. All demonstrators in the area are welcome, so if you don't have an active mentor in Stampin' Up, please do consider joining us for two hours of non-stop fun every month! zwolaneks@att.net
That’s an awesome sign-up incentive. When is convention this year?
It really is, Mary! $295 value! It really makes it more affordable to get the flights and share a hotel room. Many meals are included and we try to eat cheap and do one nice splurge restaurant on the final night. The official dates are Thursday July 17th-Saturday July 19th. Most of us will fly in Wednesday and leave on Sunday morning. There’s TONS to do in Salt Lake City, though–some people drive out and combine convention with a family vacation. I’ve done it both ways–don’t hesitate to ask if you have questions.
Thanks Lyssa! I will definitely give it some thought.
