For You, Dear Friend

Ever have an entire card or page come together from a scrap you couldn't bear to throw away? Me, too! I had this strip of Birthday Bouquet paper in a lovely shrub rose pattern and I wound up making three cards out of it. I'm a big fan of keeping my scraps as cleaned out as possible–they do tend to take over your life!–so that made me happy, to get three cards from one piece. Can't decide if I like it best with the "thanks" on the right hand side or the left. Do you have a preference? I do think I like it better with the doily underneath the word instead of on top. Beautiful color scheme… there's that wonderful "chameleon" coral-red color, Watermelon Wonder, that is so versatile. Need a red? You got it. Need a hot pink? Sure thing. Need a coral? Here you go! if you only add one new color to your repertoire this year, make it Watermelon Wonder–you'll be glad you did!
