February Song of My Heart Stampers area meeting

Good morning, all! We had a great meeting last night, which
I’d like to summarize for those of you who weren’t able to attend. We missed
you!  Our meetings are a wonderfully fun time of inspiration,
stamping, sharing ideas and recognition of our successes. If you have never
been to one, you are missing out!

Make next month’s meeting a priority. It is
Monday, March 8th at 6:30 p.m. and we will be having a little wedding
shower for Karri A. before she leaves for Jamaica. In lieu of a gift,
everyone is welcome to bring a handmade thank you card/card set for her to use after
the wedding.

 Congratulations
to Karen C. for possibly the best month ever–$1600+ in sales, promoted to Supervisor, and one of just 24 winners of the “Workshop Of
A Lifetime contest. Karen will be having Shelli Gardner come and do a workshop
for her sometime this year! Stay tuned for details about a road trip to Indiana
for a group meeting/retreat you will never forget!

Tracey Y. and Lisa R. were number two and three in
sales. Great work! Lisa also
promoted to Senior Associate, as did Suzette W. We also celebrated with sideline
Kristin C. about her new recruit and promotion to Senior Supervisor. That’s
awesome! I have rewards for all of you and an anniversary gift for Tracey
Y. We have a BUNCH of anniversaries next month, so don’t miss it!

On a personal note, congratulations to Kristin and Jen on
their pregnancies. Wishing you all the best! How fun that you get to go on that
journey together!

 PS—I have very little
way of finding out when our “adopted”
group members
have a milestone or personal victory that we should celebrate
together since I cannot see any of your reports. PLEASE share those successes with
me so we can recognize you at our meetings. We’re all in this together—so don’t
be shy—let us know when something happens so we can be happy for you!

Topics we discussed were the upcoming regional
convention and the need to register ASAP to get on the chartered bus, the awesome
new Stampin’ Connections forum, the various promotions and specials going on
right now, and my upcoming MDS seminar on the 27th. We also discussed two handy flyers–one here with pictures of all the available SAB choices, and one here Download Continuing Product with all the product that continued over from the Holiday Mini and is still available to purchase.  Info on all the
Stampin’ Up events and specials is on the demo website and the MDS seminar details are on this site. Email me for details about the chartered bus on Saturday of regionals–it will be SO much fun!

 This month’s business
challenge
is to mention the Starter Kit opportunity to just one person—you
can do it! And the stamping challenge for
the month is to pick a card or project out of a Stampin’ Up printed publication
(like Stampin’ Success, the catalog, the mini, etc) and recreate it with what
you have on hand (called CASE’ing—Copy And Share Everything). Bring it to the
March meeting along with the publication so we can see your take on it! This is
a fun way to break out of a color or layout rut.

I appreciated everyone’s swaps this month! March’s SWAP will
be 10 springtime/Easter full cards. I hope to see you at that meeting. As
always, please call or email me if you have any questions. I am super busy
right now but I will make it a priority to get back to you if I miss it. I am so delighted that each of you is
learning and growing not just as a business person but as an individual with
unique talents and limitless creativity.
Our meetings are a highlight of
my month.
I know this one was a little over the top with all the free items
from my former upline (thanks from all of us, Betsy! it was like Christmas!), as well as gifts from my Leadership Conference, but I do make every effort to plan fun and useful meetings.
I am always open to suggestions!

Happy Stampin! And be sure to enter to
win a Sweet Pea reusable shopping bag this week.
