Hi, everybody! I hope the cards I have to share today make you SMILE… AND make you RUN to the website to get your free "What I Love" stamp set for Sale-A-Bration 2016! Stampin' Up has 13 amazing reward choices (one for every week of Sale-A-Bration!) and there are NO LIMITS as to how many you can pick. You get one freebie for every $50 spent. Details here!
This post is for everyone who looks at What I Love and just sees "another floral set." Yes, it has floral image stamps. But the crisp little leaves and useful sentiments that make up the rest of this 10-piece clear photopolymer set are super versatile and can be used to make clean, trendy cards that aren't too girly. All of these would make a great card for your sweetheart.
This is my favorite card in a long time. I really do like clean, crisp lines. And the colors are what make this one work. I used three cool colors (Pool Party, Smoky Slate and Whisper White) with one "hot" color (Watermelon Wonder) and tone-on-tone stamping. I think it would look super cute in ombre shades, too, or neutrals with a pop of red for Valentine's Day, maybe.
This last 4.25×4.25 square card is just a little bonus. I used the punched-out hearts from it on my first card, then positioned my 1.75-inch circle punch where I wanted it over the top of the punched-out hearts, and punched again. You can just fit three of those across a vertical cardfront. Fun!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! We're not done featuring the What I Love stamp set, and I think you'll enjoy the final post! One thing to note–the last three items in Download SAB_2016_SOMHS are ONLY available through February 15th. Stampin' Up is releasing three more items to mark the half-way point of Sale A Bration, but if you want to get Sky's the Limit (wood mount/cling mount), the Perfectly Artistic 12×12 papers, or Hello (wood mount/cling mount), you'll need to do it before the 15th at midnight.
