Easy Paper Cascade Card

We made this adorable Patterned Paper Cascade Card in our last stamp camp and I knew you’d like it too. If you’ve never played along with one of our stamp camps, there’s a free mini version on February 3rd from 10a.m.-12p.m. Central Time on the Embellish with Lyssa Facebook page. Check it out and you’ll be excited to participate in the “real thing!”

  • · Cut two 7.5 x 4 inch pieces of Sunny Skies patterned paper (SAB item). Score one at 2 inches on the long side, and the other at 3 inches on the long side.
  • · Fold both pieces in half and nest the shorter of the folded pieces inside the longer one with the short ends facing you. You should have three cascading panels that form the “cover” of the card.
  • · Tie twine tightly in a knot around the fold to hold the two pieces together like a hinge. Tie in a double bow and knot off the ends to prevent raveling. You can also choose to staple directly on the fold instead.
  • · Decorate the inside and out with paper, stamps and punches as desired.

All supplies Stampin’ Up! Bright Skies stamp set (flowers), So Sincere stamp set (Happy Birthday) and Heartfelt Hellos (SAB item) stamp set; Hexagon punch; Three Color Baker’s twine pack; Pool Party dots (SAB item); Shaded Spruce, Poppy Parade, Petal Pink and Coastal Cabana ink pads; Simply Scored.

Thanks for choosing me as your demonstrator when you shop for Stampin’ Up! I appreciate it!
