A lot of Christmas stamp sets have come and gone over the years, but this one… this one is special. Dove of Hope is brand new for 2020 and it couldn't have hit at a better time than when we are all yearning for peace on earth and quietness of soul and body.
To my delight, I found Dove of Hope super easy to use, with really well-designed images and sentiments, and some absolutely stunning dies that expand your options even further. I'll be making my personal cards with this bundle, for sure!
I love that the dies cut and emboss at the same time (check out the bird's main body) and that you can use the layers or not, depending on how much time per card you have to spend on the project. I can't wait to play with more layouts and the other stamps in this bundle. PS–check out our new die-cutting machine!! Brand new for 2020.
Aren't the new Snowflake Splendor papers just gorgeous??!! That blue and purple combo is sooo elegant.
Here's a completely different card I made, also with stamps from the Dove of Hope set, but no birds in sight on this one! It feels like a country quilt to me. This one's perfect for using up scrap strips (I chose the Heartwarming Hugs papers) and very easy to mass-produce if you need a bunch. I like that it has very minimal coloring.
I think the focal point piece on this card would make a really cute tag for baked goods or packages, too. Sooo many ideas!
If you're thinking about ordering some of the pretty papers I've shared recently, you'll want to do it in October! There is a big sale on patterned papers (specialty papers excluded) during the whole month that will enable you to get the most bang for your bucks. I am getting extra packages of my favorite Snowflake Splendor, Heartwarming Hugs, Forever Greenery, and treating myself to a pack of Playful Pets just for fun. You'll also be able to get Magic in This Night, Playing with Patterns, Toile Tidings, Peony Garden and many more! it's a great sale.
Can you believe we're at the end of September already? It is definitely fall here now, with a chill in the air, misty mornings and the green hills blossoming into color right before your eyes. Definitely a sign it's not too early to think about holiday crafting projects!
