Double Accordion Weave Card

Double Accordion Weave Card:

Cut 12×5.5 inch cardstock, plus a 4.5×5.5 inch additional piece. Score the 12 inch piece at 4 and 8 inches, and score .5 inches on the additional piece so when you attach it to the end of the 12 inch piece, you have four identical-size panels.

Run through with rectangle dies so you have four windows, centered on the panels. If desired, layer each panel first with patterned paper, cut to 3.75 x 5.25 inches.

Next cut a 8.5×3.75 inch piece of cardstock and an 8×3.75 inch piece. Score both pieces at 2.5 and 5.25, and the longer one at .5 inches to create a little flap. Attach together to form one long accordion strip.

Thread accordion through the center windows of the previously created card base and attach to front and back covers on the ends ONLY. Do not put glue anywhere else but the ends.

Stamp first before assembly!!! Decorate each panel as desired. Use the rectangles you removed to make a background for the card front. Then add ribbon to close the card.  Requires extra postage to mail.
