Day Ten: 31 Pages in 31 Days 2025

Hello, friends! It’s the tenth day of August and what does that mean? It’s our tenth consecutive page layout for 31 Pages in 31 Days! I’ve been doing this series for years and years and I get more pages done this way than any other time of the year. Give it a go and see if you can scrapbook a page a day for a month!

You’re gonna laugh, but today’s inspiration page is all about spiders… eeek! My new studio location is just across the street from the river and while that has sooo many perks (lots of passerby with dogs to meet, beautiful breezes and benches, ducks coming to visit my front porch and the sound of water rushing over the dam) it also has one big downside! BUGS!

The spotlight on my front door draws little flying things in at night and the spiders of all types come out en force to feast on them. I have to sweep my door frame several times a week and have to remember to do it right before a class or club! Isn’t that funny? If I’m gone for a few days the cobwebs will look like halloween decor when I get back!

Thankfully, the bugs have stayed OUTSIDE. But we’ve learned not to stand chatting in the doorway at night either. I’m thinking I need to put that spotlight on a timer to reduce the speed of the buffet line!

Hey, it’s a memory, right? And half the fun of scrapbooking is laughing together over past times when things were not perfect and portrait-like, but oh, so memorable!

The spiders for my page came from this pop-up Party Alphabet card I demoed at our last Super Size Stamp Camp. It’s the inside of the letter O for the body, and the tilda accent die cut in half lengthwise for the legs. You can use googly eyes or the new Holographic Dots with a Sharpie dot in the middle for the eyes. Cute!

Here’s the outside of that card. I was having too much fun at that camp!

That’s it from me today! Tomorrow starts our final week of Scrapbooking Summer School and I can’t wait to show you some more of our projects. After that is done I hope to get a couple of holiday spreads under my belt with some of the gorgeous new toys I pre-ordered from the new Stampin’ Up Holiday Mini Catalog!
