Day Fourteen: 31 Pages in 31 Days 2025

It’s Day 14, can you believe it? I’ve scrapbooked 14 days in a row! That’s pretty cool. Whether you started with me on the first of August or you’re just now tuning in, welcome to 31 Pages in 31 Day, my annual scrapbooking challenge month. Let’s get some pages done!

Today’s inspiration layout was another class kit I made for Scrapbooking Summer School. We talked about principles for using big patterns like polka dots and strong diagonal stripes and making stripes work for you instead of against you. We also discussed how to make a monochrome pastel page like this feel more masculine. It was a great morning!

This is one of my favorite details on this spread–a torn tag with two tabs, a die-cut, a punch, some sequins and a little silver key charm. Grouping embellishments is so much more effective that scattering them randomly by themselves all over the page!

I hope you’re enjoying the tips and layout ideas this month! Thanks for visiting the blog, and we’ll see you back here tomorrow for day 15!
