Day Eighteen: 31 Pages in 31 Days 2025

It’s Day 18, can you believe it? I’ve scrapbooked 18 days in a row! That’s pretty cool. Whether you started with me on the first of August or you’re just now tuning in, welcome to 31 Pages in 31 Day, my annual scrapbooking challenge month. Let’s get some pages done!

Today’s inspiration pages are my attempt to use up a patterned paper I didn’t really like. Large florals can sometimes be confounding to cardmakers and too busy for scrapbooking backgrounds, too.

So I tore my sheet into two wide borders, then cut the flowers out individually from the leftovers. The torn edges added texture, and then layering the cut flowers on dimensionals and bringing that border in towards the middle visually helped add interest.

Have you learned any fun tips this month that you can use in your own creating? I hope so! Leave me a comment and let me know–it’s very encouraging to get feedback of ANY kind, just kind of lets you know someone is out there in the void enjoying what you put out there into the world!

Thanks for visiting and I’ll hopefully see you back for Day 19 tomorrow. Busy week with lots of medical appointments for 3/4 of the family!
