Christmas Cards of 2019: Light at Christmas Time

I wish you could see the gleam on this card–from the rhinestones to the silver foil edging to the Wink of Stella clear glimmer brushed on the poinsettia and candle halo. It's lovely with the crisp white and deep Peacock blue. You'll just have to use your imagination!Gods peace Christmas candles holiday card DIY heat embossing advent Luke 2

I used the God's Peace stamp set (a must-have because of the beautiful verse from Luke 2) with the verse stamped repeatedly in Pool Party ink for a background, and the candle image heat-embossed in white. The embossing is accented by the clear glimmer and also the White Chalk Marker to color the candles and ribbon. Takes a little time but lots less than having to color the whole thing!

  1. Happy Thanksgiving Lyssa and to your family.
I’m from Sweden and living in the UK so not celebrating this but I do
looking forward to x-mas and think the tree will have to come up on
Saturday to make it more cosy and warm because outside it is rain
and very dark early and it makes me feel low. Seeing your wonderful
cards do make me feel happier and I wish I could get hold of some of
the fabulous stamps and dies that you are using on your cards.
    Take care x
