Buffalo check plaid is still popular as a Christmas color scheme and I enjoyed making a bunch of these red, black and white cards for one of my designs this year. I thought it was so cool that they'd match my front porch decor… only my front porch still has pumpkins and Thanksgiving stuff up!! What a crazy year it has been. Thinking at this point with less than 10 days to go before the holiday, I'll skip the Christmassy part and go straight for the "generic winter" things instead. Then I won't have to mess with it until spring!
Not decorating for the season is unlike me, but you know, sometimes things have to give. Blessings on everyone struggling this year. A saying that I have shared several times on social media says, "It's ok if your Christmas is pretty simple. The first one was, too."
Some years, if the cards go out by the end of the month, we call it a win and move on, right? Well, THOSE I am on top of! Everything is just about ready to go. Here's a couple more designs using the same tree die (from Into the Woods).
I shared all of these on a Facebook live last week for my 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways series. If you missed it, click here to like and follow the page, and be notified when I go live! It's almost as good as getting together. And I share lots of fun tips and tricks and placement helps while I stamp, too.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
