Adopt A Pet card kit!

THE CUTEST new Kits Collection just dropped, and of course I had to have it the second I saw it included guinea pigs!! Here are some gratuitous pictures of my furry babies!! Currently we have Moo and Pickle; Dash, Waffle and Mr Darcy have gone to graze in the “Wood Between Worlds,” as CS Lewis called it.

Anyway, Natalie and I had great fun putting this Adopt A Pet kit together, but I decided to take another one and see how hard it would be to turn them into flat cards that you can mail. I know you could just put all the pieces for each animal, cage and toy in an envelope and they can assemble it when they get it (adhesive is already on them) but for really young kids–or older but young at heart!– a flat card would be nice.

So here’s what I came up with! Feel free to copy. You can order the kit here Shop with Lyssa

I used the Banner Sayings stamp set and Three Banner Punch to make my cards. They are all regular 5.5 x 8.5 card bases in Coastal Cabana and Strawberry Slush. This parakeet one has the front cover folded in half back on itself.

Super fun. hey? Give yourself the gift of a hilarious afternoon with this cute kit, then spread the love by sharing what you make in person or through the mail. They’ll be so delighted with what you made for them!

  1. Love your guinea pigs! And the cards, I too had to order the kit, it’s at my house waiting for me to leave Arizona and go home! All my card supplies are awaiting me and I’m itching to get at them!
My granddaughter (9yrs) went with my husband and I to the pet store to get cat food, lucky me, it was adopt a cat weekend (I always feel the need to get 1. . . Or 2. . ). I already have a cat, and really all I need is 1.
My granddaughter told me I had to come see something. She wanted one of the calico kittens! It was a guinea pig! She didn’t know, hadn’t seen one so now she needed one! Didn’t happen but she knows them now! And knows you and yours!
