Check out these amazing samples from a Big Shot Christmas swap I was in! My new Clear Scallop Square Bigz die is on the way–can't wait to make this adorable little present card with a hinged lid that pops up to reveal a gift card inside. I already have the Scalloped Circle Bigz die that was used to make this sweet Santa with his rosy cheeks!
Here's a couple unique things to do with the good ol' Top Note die. Such a nice change from the ordinary rectangles on cards. Instantly elegant!
This Lattice die is definitely on my list. There's two of them here, layered to make a really unusual and lovely snowflake, using the Night & Day DSP from the Holiday Mini Catalog. SO pretty! SO simple!
Lyssa,
Love the santa and the present. Does the gift card just slide between the bottom portion of the polka dotted CS? I am so glad I found this blog! Isn’t it amazing how you feel you *know* a person by reading their blog. Thanks for being my new *friend*.
Hi Dawn! Thanks for your kind comments! I feel very affectionate towards my readers, too, though most times I don’t even know who they are.
Yes, the gift card is inside the bottom half of the present, which is two Scallop Squares adhere together around the sides and bottom, and a folded Scallop Square for the top, hinged on the left side. Super cute and super easy idea from my friend and 2008 Rising Star #6, Susan Auyer.
I LOVE that santa! So cute! Great projects, I agree the lattice card is totally unique!
