Embellish hosts the Learning to Lead Weekend

We had such a great time at our first-ever Learning to Lead weekend in Watertown, Wisconsin! Our event happened to be chosen as one of the ones picked for a visit from the Home Office as part of the 35 for the 35th anniversary of Stampin’ Up. Our special guest was Brian Pilling, which was just perfect for the topic. It was a fantastic day of networking and learning together with demos who are Silver and above.

We were delighted with presentations by not only Brian but also Lori Brausen, Robyn Scherzer, Joni Martin, Jessica Taylor and Lynn Dunn, as well as myself. We had handouts, displays, games, giveaways, and of course, FOOD!

My favorite part of the day was getting to meet some of my team members and online friends in person for the first time! And getting hugs from all the “old” friends I haven’t seen since before covid. I didn’t realize how much I needed those hugs!

I hope if you’re a demonstrator in the southern Wisconsin region, you’ll consider coming to our next Learning to Lead event in 2024! We all agreed it needs to be annual. Watch for more posts with samples from the swap and the display boards. I can’t WAIT to have two minutes to stamp some of those ideas!
